Up To Speed - May 14, 2024

That's the sunrise on Sunday over the surf in South Carolina. I haven't written anything in a week because I was staring at that instead. I like the look of that better than my laptop screen.

I forced myself to go a full seven days without writing this time. I always know that I could pre-write some things that I could then publish during the week, but that doesn't seem to fit the spirit of what I'm trying to do for my writing brain: take a full week and let the creativity tank regenerate. When you enjoy the article I write after we beat Michigan in October, just remember how proactive I was with the gauge on my creativity tank.

Now that I'm back in Champaign, it's time to get me up to speed. Let's see here...
