SOC - Maryland

I'm on campus right now (Maryland's campus). I'm in a really nice hotel room for $151 per night (a hotel within walking distance of the stadium). The get-in price for the game tomorrow is $3. I am basically on the Illinois campus in 2018.

I expect the tailgating lots to look like Grange Grove before they built the Grange Grove and maybe 15% of people holding a parking pass would park there. Think about that lot in 2012. You'd walk across 1st Street towards the stadium and you'd see a few RV's and then a small group of cars and then NOTHING ELSE in the lot right next to the stadium. That was us in 2012. That will be Maryland tomorrow. How many people actually show? 19,000?

Getting to Maryland was an adventure. I'm going to tell you that story (a story that involves hitting a deer at 70 mph). And then I'm going to tell you what I think of the game tomorrow. Buckle up.
