I try to hit a thousand words with these Postscripts.

It’s not a hard and fast rule. Sometimes there’s just not a thousand words’ worth of things to say about a game; other times, I breeze past that mark because I’ve got so much to discuss. Generally, though, if I can get to 1,000 words, I feel like I’ve done the game justice.

I’m not sure I could write enough words to do justice to Luke Altmyer’s impact on the Illinois football program – not just in this column, but like, ever.
