One Question Mailbag - NIL

In lieu of an "other stuff" post, I'm going to answer a question from the comments from yesterday. It's in reference to this whole "instead of paying for a scoreboard, we should pay players" thing and my constant "it doesn't work like that" responses. I have 75 minutes before the Monday press conference so let's see if I can get this written.

Always appreciate your fact based analysis. And having graduated in 1971 I've seen a lot of bad and also some good fun times. I am very supportive of this team and Coach B. But I do wonder why Indiana could be in the 30mil plus NIL club and we are in the 20mil plus. And I do understand that the Geis donation was for the stadium specifically. Maybe you could talk about that or if you have I missed it.
