Just Get Here

I've sat at this very desk in a SpringHill Suites at least two dozen times. I go for the Marriott Points when I'm on the road, and my preference is to stay at a SpringHill or a Residence Inn (the newer ones, not the old ones). On all of those stays, every SpringHill room has looked exactly like this. Same desk with the same frosted glass that I can open and look at the bed if I want (or that I can close if my wife is with me and she doesn't want to hear me hammering away at the keyboard).

But let me tell you, this is just about the best SpringHill Suites writing experience I've had. And I wrote about Trent's dagger three at Michigan State while seated at a desk exactly like this. I wrote about John Paddock's three big throws at Minnesota after Luke Altmyer was injured at this exact SpringHill Suites desk. Those were fun, but this one... man, this one feels GOOD. Let me see if I can explain it.
