High Five: Oregon

That was more like it. A home win against 11-18 Oregon was to be expected, but a team can only take what the schedule gives and if Brick Laying Ducks are on the menu, then it’s time to eat. A 21-0 first half run and a 15-0 second half run did most of the heavy lifting on Senior Night at the SFC as Illinois cruised to an 80-54 win. The Illini got 40 points from their bench - led by a rejuvenated Andrej Stojakovic who shook off a sleepy effort against Michigan (0 points/1 rebound) to go for 21 points and 12 rebounds in 20 extremely efficient minutes. It was a get well kind of night for Illinois.
