From The Stands - Purdue 2025

I'll give you a photo of my pacing spot here in a moment. I didn't have much space so it really wasn't "pacing" as much as it was standing and rocking back and forth. I just could not sit still for half of the third quarter and all of the fourth quarter. I was convinced that every two touchdown lead we held was about to evaporate. And then it didn't.

Here's my pacing spot:

Just stood down there by the railing walking up to the railing and then back to the stairs and then up to the railing and then back to the stairs. Could not sit still. Drank a bunch of waters and then went to the bathroom four times just to work out some nerves.

And yet the game was never really in doubt after our second quarter explosion. A game where we're favored by 8.5 and we win by 16. We're 5-1, ranked, and have #1 coming to town for the biggest game in Champaign in 35 years.
