"We'll live-blog this one!", we said. Tyler from media row behind the scorers table, me from up in the media seats in the 200-level. He'd share what things are like down there, I'd share what things are like up here, and then we'll have something to publish right after we beat Michigan.

We didn't beat Michigan. The "Illini 500" – I think the promotion was supposed to be something about NASCAR, maybe because Fox was broadcasting? – turned into a Michigan boatrace. We didn't belong on the same court with them.

And I felt it from the opening tip (that's my view of the opening tip from up top). I guess I can just publish the words right now and you can see that I felt it from the start. Here's our back-and-forth as the game was going on. And then I'll be back at the end to wrap this up. Tyler's words will have the little orange line next to them, my words won't.
