Back From LA

There are too many things this time of year. On the last day of April you’re supposed to get all Justin Timberlake and say “it’s gonna be me” (but you say “it’s gonna be May” instead). And today (I'm writing this Sunday but it will be published on Monday), you’re supposed to say “May the 4th be with you.” Can we just go back to early May being Cinco de Mayo and that’s it? April showers bring May flowers… and Cinco de Mayo. 

I’ve been in LA this week. I’m on the flight home right now. My wife had a work trip to LA, and I needed to go to LA for some things, so I tagged along. The reason I had to go to LA is long and boring but I’m going to tell you anyway. And I’ll put up the paywall here so that I’m only boring my subscribers. Yes, there will be some Illini stuff in here. But mostly life stuff.
