88 Illini: #84-#81

I love informative comments. In the last article, CMI2PHX (can we get that flight added?) pointed out that he had never seen a tilde (the ~ symbol) used between two numbers to mean "through." And he's right. The dash means "84 through 81" but the tilde doesn't exactly mean that. I thought it looked pretty good stylistically, but grammar is grammar and I should probably use the - instead of the ~.

All of this could have been taken care of if I returned to 1991 and pursued an English degree instead of a Landscape Architecture degree. I'd probably be much better at editing my own work as well. But I spent all of my time in the studio building models out of materials I purchased at Art Coop and, as a result, I don't know my - from my ~.

I'm sure that some of you might respond to that with "Robert you're a perfectly cromulent writer. And I like the use of the tilde there." Just be careful not to put me too high on a pedestal. Because you might look like a fool from exalting my tilde with me.

(Still got it.)
