56 days until the season. That's crazy. 56 days until the season with the highest expectations since the fall of 1990 when I was a senior in high school. I've written "the month I got my acceptance letter to Illinois we were #5 in the polls... for football" approximately 50 times in this space and now we're entering the season with the best chance of repeating that feat.
