2024 Golf Preview

Warning, this post is very long. Nearly 5,000 words. I decided that I wanted to write a golf preview (a mini version of the football and basketball previews) and it got away from me. So if you start reading below, just know that it's going to be an investment. A good investment, but an investment. Here we go.

The first golf tournament of the spring season started this morning. I'd been wanting to write one of these off-the-top-of-my-head previews but I didn't get it finished before this tournament started. As punishment for myself, I'm not going to look at any scores until this preview is finished. At the very bottom of this article, I'll give you a live look-in at the scores (and I totally expect to say things like "he's primed for a monster spring" and then find out that said player is nine over for the day).
