Let's be honest, this was a sleepy, nothing-really-happening game. So you'll forgive me when I tell you that I was really only thinking about January 8, 2020, not January 8, 2026. This is the six year anniversary of Ayo hitting that three pointer over Brad Davison to break our 15-game losing streak against Wisconsin and change the trajectory of our entire program, and ever since I saw the video that the Big Ten put up noting the six year anniversary, it's all I've been thinking about.
