A big thanks to Joe C. for noting that the URL for the last post (Dare To Dream) was actually "dare-to-dream-2." That meant I had already written a post titled "Dare To Dream." He went and found it, which made a bunch of other people go and find it, and now that I've gone and found it, I want to write about it.
I wrote the first "Dare To Dream" post right after Bruce Weber was fired in March of 2012 (more than 14 years ago). If you want to read the whole thing, it's here. But you don't really have to because I'm going to cut-and-paste 75% of the post below.
Right to it. I apparently wrote this one while at work late one evening. I was working on a project and really needed to finish the drawings so I could go home but I took a break to write about the open Illini basketball coaching job. It meant that I'd get home well past 1:00 am but I didn't care. I wanted to dream.
