A Night Out in Champaign Urbana

It's a quarter after one in the morning, you have just finished way too many quarter beers at your favorite campus town watering hole. You focus the best you can and find your way to Sixth St., wobbling with your friends, and dodging every car on Green St. to get to that most sloppish of burrito palaces. You get in line with the other inebriated and barely functioning undergraduates for a big, slop combo burrito with everything on it at La Bamba...

You leave in a hurry, opening the foil as you take a big bite out of that steaming hot, delicious slop of a burrito, relying on your peripheral vision only to get you across a busy Green St. once again back to your room. You won't remember most of the trip home ever again.

The next morning you awake to find only a couple of bites left of your burrito on the floor by your bed. Hot sauce has dried to the floor. Foil is still glued to the bottom of the tortilla with a big bite mark in it. You won't be able to go through a metal detector for a couple of days. Hot sauce and burrito juice has run down your shirt, which you are still wearing, and dried. Your hands are also covered. The strange thing is...it still looks good. You contemplate finishing what you couldn't the night before. But you are too weak, and pass out once again until one or two in the afternoon. When you do get up, do yourself a favor, don't even bother looking in the mirror before you take a shower.
