4. Iowa had to rely on a run in the BTT in order to have any chance of making the NCAA tournament
3. Illinois had won 3 of the last 5 Big Ten BB titles and recently won the Big Ten FB Title and gone to a BCS game
2. I had to rest all of my hopes for a successful 2002 winning Iowa FB season on how a JC recruit looks in a glossy photo
