Weber: Listless Illini ‘are beaten down’

It didn’t work.

In a season marked by poor shooting, Illinois couldn’t find a leader. The result was its second-worst offensive showing of the season in a 49-43 loss to Michigan at Crisler Arena.

“We didn’t play hard, including myself,” junior guard Chester Frazier said. “I could have played harder, but … that’s how the story starts, story ends.”
